👋 Hey there,

Welcome back to AccioAdmit Weekly, your no-fluff, high-value strategy series for cracking your MBA goals in Europe. This week, we’re talking about how to create your 6 month plan that ensures you are application ready when the deadline arrives.

📓 The 6-Month MBA Application Game Plan

Most MBA applicants overestimate what they can do in a month—and underestimate what focused effort over six months can achieve.

Note: If you have pre planned and done your GMAT early, skip to Month 4.

Here’s a realistic 6-month roadmap that gives you structure and breathing room:

Months 1–3: GMAT Focus Mode (with a Strategy Overlay)

Primary Focus: GMAT prep

Secondary Focus: Research schools, costs, and scholarships

Treat the GMAT like a full-time project. It’s not just a test—it’s a gatekeeper. Three months gives you time to learn the content, test different strategies, and build test stamina.

🔹 Why parallel school research matters: Your target GMAT score shouldn’t be arbitrary. If your dream school is INSEAD, you’re aiming for 700+. If it’s IE or ESMT, 640–680 might be fine. Know your range early so you’re not over-preparing or under-shooting.

🔹 Financing isn’t just an afterthought: Scholarship deadlines often match application deadlines. Understand tuition costs, look into early-bird discounts, and bookmark scholarship options now—especially if ROI matters to you (and it should).

Month 4: Buffer & Back-Up Plan

If you’re really good, your GMAT is done in 3 months.

If not? This month is your insurance policy.

⏳ Retake if needed.

⏳ Start your brainstorming for application stories.

⏳ Shortlist your final set of 3–5 schools.

This month is the difference between panic and polish. Too many candidates gamble on a single GMAT date—and when they miss the mark, it throws off the entire timeline.

Months 5–6: Application Deep Dive

Primary Focus: Build your story and execute your applications

Optional (but recommended): Work with a consultant or mentor

Now the real storytelling begins.

🔹 Why you? Why now? Why an MBA? Why this school?

🔹 What do your career moves say about you?

🔹 What’s the thread connecting your past, present, and future?

This phase needs reflection, iteration, and outside perspective. Two months gives you time to dig deep—not just write what you think the school wants to hear.

🎯 Aim to submit at least 1 week before the actual deadline. Last-minute tech issues, rushed essays, or missing recos can cost you dearly.

A great MBA application isn’t built in a rush. It’s built with clarity, consistency, and compounding effort.
